Our Story
Our Product
Aloha Okoshi is a Hawaii-based confectionary company with humble beginnings. Our first product is a hand-crafted Hawaii version of Japanese okoshi, a roasted rice-based confection that is crispy with a light sweetness. While some of the original versions of okoshi were made with peanuts, our Hawaii version is made with macadamia nuts. Our founder Craig "Masaru" Nomitsu created the original recipe back in the early 2000's under the brand "Masaru".
Craig’s focus is to produce a quality food product. To Craig, food creates relationships and quality and care is important. Aloha Okoshi carries on these values today, taking care in the quality of our ingredients, the way in which our okoshi is made, and the presentation. Now with partners Neil, Corinne, and David, we hope that you will enjoy Aloha Okoshi and introduce our creations to your family and friends.
